Edible Drone

Now it is possible to eat a drone wings. This drone will be use for humanitarian missions. This drone is made of biodegradable starch-based thermoplastic.

Production will start in 12 month. Drones will drop in disaster zones. Using edible drones is a good solution for humanity.

Although in early stages, the edible drone 'Pouncer' would be released from a plane or catapult and dropped within a 25 mile radius of the target.

Gifford, who is also an engineer, become successful after selling his solar satellite company, Ascenta, to Facebook in 2014 for $20 million.

The company was purchased by the social media giant in order to make and develop drones that can fly at the hight of 60,000 feet above the earth for months at a time in order to beam broad band signals to the Third World.

Now, Gifford hopes this innovation will take him to new heights.

'Pouncer drone addresses the fast reactive need to deliver food aid into disasters remote, difficult, damaged and broken infrastructures by overflying the difficulties and placing life-sustaining nutrition exactly where it's needed', he said.

Pouncer drone is designed with an airframe skin made from biodegradable starch-based thermoplastic, which will be filled with vacuum-packed food packages and medical supplies, reports FMCG News.
